Just Panela Creme Brulee


- 7 Tbsp of Just Panela
- 4 Tbsp of Just Panela for topping
- 4 Egg yolks
- 1 Tsp of vanilla extract or paste
- 2 cups heavy cream

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Heat cream to just below a boil and remove from heat.

3. Mix egg yolks and Just Panela while adding cream until Just Panela is fully dissolved, then stir in vanilla.

4. Poor mixture through a strainer into a stone/ceramic baking bowl(s). No more than 1.5 to 2 inches deep.

5. Place bowl(s) in a large deep baking pan, fill baking pan with hot water, halfway up the bowl(s).

6. Bake for 25-35 minutes.

7. Remove and let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours uncovered.

8. Before serving sprinkle Just Panela over the top. Caramelize the Just Panela with or torch or by placing on top rack of the oven on broil and monitor until golden brown.
